I've come to the conclusion that I need new tires for my car.  I guess that puts off any extraneous spending until after the new tires.  I spun my tires coming out of bethtoney's driveway and again at a green light.  I suppose rotating the tires would help, but I'll just go ahead and spring for a new set.
