(no subject)

I find it odd that my Discrete Structures textbook instructs us to negate some sentences in good English, yet it forgets to put the comma before a conjunction in a compound sentence.

You know, having intelligent arguments in an online forum is actually enjoyable.

In my argumentation class, the professor set up forums on the class's Blackboard site. Most of the posts have been of the "Me too!" variety. So far, I've had the most extreme ideas. My posts have mostly been met with either no response (a post I made where I became quite the misanthropist) to being the only thread for the topic (my idea of arming the whole world to the same level).
