(no subject)

Might be off to rjwootang's place tomorrow if my car doesn't do this thing where it starts up for about 5 seconds and then dies. It's probably the battery (had to buy a cheap-o battery that's only supposed to last about a year when the alternator and stuff died on me about a year ago). I'm mostly worried about it doing that while out on the interstate, since I lose steering and my regular brakes when it happens (my parking/emergency/whatever the hell you wanna call it brake still functions at least).
