I'm surprised there's not more buzz about it going around the ETSU campus. We're only 2-3 hours from VT.

Update on the Virginia Tech shooting

The gunman is dead. The current death count is 31. I imagine the school will be on heightened security for a bit longer in case there was more than one gunman.
That's the closest a school shooting has been to here. And of course an announcement comes over the PA system here in the Culp while everyone's thinking of the school shooting and startle everyone.
