Odd

That laptop lacks a NIC of either variety. I thought it had wireless, but the little card that looked like a wireless one was actually a modem (WTF?), and my glance at it to check for wired failed to show me that it had a modem jack and not an ethernet one.

I put CentOS 5 on it initially because the Win2k installer wasn't man enough and hung while formatting the drive. Not too long ago, I decided to try slapping Solaris 10 on it to play around with that. I just wish it had a damn NIC.
