Wee!

Well, it turns out that there wasn't a hold on my balance of aid check. I have my car...or will once a temporary tag has been obtained by the dealer. I should have the car within the hour. I'll post pictures once I can get ahold of a better digital camera. The balance in my checking account is now $666.30. I suppose I could put some money back into it after I get clothes...and spend a little on myself. I'm considering taking $.30 out of the account. (rolan_snyder I don't need a ride tomorrow.)

My second day of class was rather uneventful. I had public speaking for my first class. Following that, I had 3 hours before my next class. I explored the campus a bit, ran into a former teacher, Mr. Whaley, and actually ate. I eventually found necrojustice and idled with him for a bit before my second class, Student in University. That class will force me to be social. I ran into foogle as he was heading to his next class and I was on the way to look for my ride home.

Tomorrow, I get to start off the day with the lecture portion of my WWW Design class. Woo...

Oh yeah, for the next few weeks, I won't be checking on LJ as often. If anything important happens, just leave a comment with a link to it somewhere in my journal. I've been fairly exhausted after class, and I'm just giving LJ a quick once-over. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Car

I have the car in my possession. I ended up heading to Wal-Mart to get a calculator...and the Bonfire boxed set...which they didn't have after having it every friggin' time I'd been there before. I guess I'll have to check Best Buy and Circuit City for it. I ended up buying Queen "Greatest Hits - We Will Rock You Edition." It's the normal Greatest Hits CD with "I'm In Love With My Car," "Under Pressure (Live)," and "Tie Your Mother Down (Live)." Those live versions are from the Milton-Keynes '82 concert. I found out that the CD player doesn't work. I guess I'll just have to get a cheap new one.
