Fuck comedy shows

Maybe I'm just a wee bit sensitive about shit like this, but SNL just ran a skit entitled "Appalachian Emergency Room" or something along those lines. Of course the characters were stereotypical rednecks. I've never seen or heard anyone act like that outside of fiction. I wish they'd fucking get rid of the redneck stereotype for the south. Gods...real rednecks act nothing like those on TV. I may not have been born in the "hard south," but I still take it as a great personal offense at such stereotypes. I've been boycotting The Beverly Hillbillies for years. Maybe it's just too much to ask for, but if these people would actually visit the south, maybe they'd realize it's not all that different from anywhere else. Yes, we have fucking rednecks, but they sure as Hell don't act like TV rednecks. Some of the rednecks know how to use computers...that doesn't exactly scream "redneck," now does it?

Of Zombies and Donkeys

My mom rented the remake of Dawn of the Dead and Shrek 2 last night.

Dawn of the Dead is a good movie, but I have yet to see the original. I dislike the fast zombies used in this one. There's just not the scare factor in fast zombies. I had heard the zombie baby scene was scary. I didn't think it was. I expected something along the lines of the Alien chest-burster scenes.

Shrek 2 was decent, but not as good as the original. It was trying too hard to just make fun of Hollywood without any of the charm of the original. Donkey claimed to be sexy as a stallion...I think he's sexier as a donkey.

When will people realize how much Half-Life 2 owns Halo 2?
