Hurts So Bad It's Stone Cold Crazy

In it, I have to write something about Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nail's "Hurt." Not liking NIN and not caring too much for Cash, I'm using the song as an example of what a bad cover is and using Metallica's cover of Queen's "Stone Cold Crazy" as an example of a good cover.
I'm tempted to furrify the rough draft to see if people get hung up on it (I once titled a rough draft "My Pants Ache," and people asked about the meaning of it in their critiques of the paper).
