Oct. 19th, 2005 05:19 pmWhen I got to campus today, there was some sort of voice amplification device in use over in front of the library, so I went over to check it out...and there was something there called the "Tech-Know-logy Tour". Logitech, NVidia, Gibson, Sony, RCA, and Best Buy were all part of it. Over in the Gibson tent thing, they had some upcoming game for the PS2 that's like DDR for guitars. I sucked at anything other than Joan Jett's "I Love Rock 'n' Roll". They also had Gibson guitars set up so you could play them (Les Pauls, SGs, and Flying Vs)...I didn't even bother with the real things. I did get away with a Gibson guitar pick. Gibson had a little guitar contest towards the end of the day...and most of the entrants busted out Eddie Van Halen solos...I sort of expected original works to be entered, but eh. The winner got $5000 of Gibson guitar swag.
Edit:
I finally got my car back. I'm mobile again!
