I went to make pancakes a little while ago. The directions on the box only had listed directions for 6-7 pancakes (minimum), so I simply use half the mix and water listed. I get 2 pancakes out of what I expected to make 3..and the second pancake was rather dinky. I then mixed up another half-batch and get 1 pancake out of that. Three pancakes out of what was supposed to make 6-7.

The moral of the story:
Pancake directions lie.

In reference to this, things are okay now. It was just something that we differ quite a bit on and had sort of just been side-stepping it for a while. I bit the bullet and am giving him one chance at having it his way. I know that's a horrible compromise, but it took alot for me to give him that one chance. In the future, I might be more open to giving him what he wants on this...but it's gonna be a bit of a big change for me to do that.

It put his mind at ease about something, at least.

All of that really made me notice how much I really need to change about myself. I need to cut down on how jealous I am and be more flexible with what he wants when it's quite different from what I want.

Okay...

I went over to Goldlink to pull up my schedule so I could go buy my books today. I look at the location of one of the course, and it said Kingsport. Umm...no. I don't recall signing up for any course at the Kingsport campus (that's one of the things I'm anal about making sure I don't do). So either I hit a wrong key when signing up for the course and didn't catch it or they randomly changed it.

After messing with my schedule for an hour trying to find something else to substitute for the class, I think I'm just gonna do with 4 classes this semester instead of 5.

Bleh

I went and grabbed my balance of aid check, deposited most of it in the bank, and bought my books. I wandered around the JC a little. On the way back, I stopped at the ATM to get out another $360 that I owe Matt (my mom's boyfriend) for paying for the repairs to the Celebrity. The money's not showing up in my account yet, so I was a little frustrated. It also means I have to wait until tomorrow to go buy a new monitor and a few other things (I would've picked them up today, but, by waiting, I can use my mom's discount card thing she has because she works at Wal-Mart and save a little bit.)

The part that made it worse was hearing about a snow warning for the area for tomorrow afternoon through Saturday evening. I had planned on heading to RJ's either tomorrow or Saturday. I really want to go...but I don't have much experience with driving in snowy conditions, let alone snowy interstate conditions. Sorry, hon, I have to err on the side of caution and not come visit this weekend. I know you need me, and I could use some cuddles, too, but I gotta be safe. I'll call, at least.
