First off, happy whelpday [livejournal.com profile] cybernet3000!

Secondly, I've noticed that Firefox has started to suck up memory recently. I'm trying to track down whether it's an issue with Firefox itself or some extension I have installed. A few minutes ago, Firefox was using ~100MB of memory, which is nearly half the RAM on my laptop. I've noticed the same on my desktop (only it gets to 160-200MB before I notice it eating memory). Prior to my last re-install of WinXP on both machines, I hadn't noticed this issue except in rare cases and usually only when I'd hit up sites using Java or something like that. I currently have the DOM Inspector, Adblock, Adblock Fillterset.G Updater, Forecastfox, Fasterfox, Download Manager Tweak, Tab Mix Plus, and Customize Google extensions and the Black Japan theme installed. I think my desktop has the same extensions installed.

I may finally break down and get a USB 2.0 PCI card for my desktop.
