Jul. 1st, 2006 12:20 amI finally bought myself a better FM transmitter for the iPod. I bought the Belkin TuneCast II for iPod. Next paycheck, I'm gonna pick up the Belkin car charger for the iPod that will also power the TuneCast II. Not the best solution, but it'll do until I can grab something that gets the audio out of the dock connector on the iPod.
As far as the TuneCast's performance, it is doing better than my old transmitter (it was one I found at Wal-Mart like 10 years ago). It also promises up to 8 hours of battery life on 2 AAAs (I've got 6 rechargeable AAAs and my plans on buying a car adapter for it, so no big deal) while the old one got something like an hour unless I wired a 9-volt up to it. The Belkin also looks sexier than the old transmitter.
I also picked up a "Watch more anime" shirt and an Invader Zim "Obey Pustulio" shirt at Hot Topic for $5 each.
Grabbed my schedule for work, too.
( Cut for the uninterested )
