Well, Karen (district manager) came and swapped out the dead IBM xSeries 200 eServer with a newer one. After they had that swapped out and working, Debbie asked me if I wanted the old machine. I said yes and ran it out to my car. So now I have this 1.1GHz PIII with (I think) 384MB of RAM in it. I gotta swap out the video card (some shitty 8MB one), but I think this one might become my new gaming machine, and my old Duron 950 machine will become my mom's.
They didn't even wipe the HDD (the OS (SCO OpenServer Release 5)) won't boot, but I think the data is still intact. I'm really wondering what sort of data is on that drive.
Edit:
Damn DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive in it doesn't work, so I'll have to swap that with my DVD burner before I can start poking around in it with Knoppix (I only have the DVD edition and no CD-Rs).

Arg...just realized that I'm gonna have to find a cheap DVD drive for the Duron machine so I can use all my DVD based stuff on it without having to swap out the drive with the one from the PIII machine.
