bethtoney hooked up with teh broadband, which turned out more trouble than it should've been. It involved running over to Johnson City to pick up the modem and what-not, waiting for Todd to run the cable down in the basement, wait for it to connect, calling Charter, and it finally connecting a good 3 hours or so after the whole thing got started.
While at Elizabeth's place, I found an open wireless connection. I suggested she take back the modem and such, cancel the broadband, and pick up a wireless card instead.
Considering dropping the friends only for this LJ.
One of these days, I need to remember to either grab my headphones out of my backpack or buy a second pair to keep in my laptop bag so I can listen to my iPod while mooching 'Net access off ETSU.
