Things are looking better in my sysadmin class. We had a group project due today, and the whole thing felt rushed. We had a week to come up with all this. The group I was in had to do configuration 1. At the least, we had both the cheapest option and a few other things that set us apart from the other 2 groups with that configuration. I managed to shit out a one page summary that was actually decent enough to be all of the justification document stuff we really needed.
Now, I've just got parts of an SRS document for software engineering due next week and some homework for database.
Edit:
Looking at it now, I think Windows XP will be the last Windows OS I install on any of my computers by choice. Vista needs a ridiculous amount of HDD space (15GB). I'll go to Linux probably around this time next year. I'll deal with getting Wine and Cedega working before I chew up that much space just for an OS. My typical Linux installations run around 3GB to 5GB, and I get way more functionality than Vista offers with 15GB of space used.
