After a Show
Feb. 25th, 2007 08:43 pmAeth walked off stage and heard a voice, "Don't go back out there. The show has already gone on almost 3 hours, and we're going to start losing money due to the power you guys are using." It was the owner of the venue. "Aww, but they're loving it, and the band's really on tonight. Can't we do one more encore?" "No." "Alright. Guys! I guess that's it for the show tonight. The man doesn't want us playing anymore." The rest of the band let out a collective grumble and wandered back to the rest area.
Aeth just fell over on his back and layed there. He was exhausted and dripping with sweat. He thought back over the show. The crowd had gone wild when the taped intro started playing, and he was surprised you could hear the instruments over the crowd when the band took the stage due to all the noise the crowd was making. He had just grinned and played, knowing that the night was going to be a very special one. Between the audience and how on the band had been tonight, Aeth had played with enough energy to where he had to strip down to his boxers to keep from over-heating. He giggled and thought, "Half of them probably wanted me to move the damned guitar and give them a different kind of show. Hell, one of them is probably trying to get backstage and find me right now for a private show." He was kind of pissed off at himself for getting really into things about half-way through the show and smashing one of his Flying Vs. The 5 encores the band did were a personal best, especially since they hadn't really rehearsed a few of the songs and usually only did one or two encores.
With that, Aeth got up and padded off to pass out somewhere where the band would find him and drag him home.
