Whenever I get a new laptop, I'm considering picking that up.
Anyone have any recommendations for alternatives? I didn't care too much for the Streets & Trips software that came with the old Gateway box, but that was about 10 years ago. I mostly want a GPS receiver and map software that will talk to it. I know there are options like TomTom or whatever, but I'd like something that will talk to the laptop and theoretically have far more uses than a more dedicated device.
