Lightweight Linux Distro
Jun. 2nd, 2008 02:26 amAny recommendations for a minimal Linux distro that will run reasonably on a 100MHz Pentium with 32MB RAM?
My goal is to take an old box and turn it into a LAMP setup to finally start work on the image gallery software that I've had in my head ever since I learned PHP. Ideally, this distro will be light on the system and have package management software of some sort (think yum or apt). Red Hat-based is a major plus, as I'm used to dealing with those distros.
Edit:
Just registered for classes over at ETSU. Japanese, Advanced Database, Software Engineering II, Intro to C++, and Argumentation & Debate. I couldn't get my ideal schedule (Monday - Thursday), and I ended up making Tuesday & Thursday my CS days. It's gonna be a fun semester.
