I've been wrangled into fixing my cousin's computer. It's turning out to be a bit of a tricky fix. A trojan had downloaded a piece of malware called "Antivirus 2009", which hasn't gone down easily. When I left home this morning, the portable version of ClamWin AV was having a go at it, and I'm gonna hit it with a more specific solution when I get home tonight. I'm also going to recommend the removal of Norton Antivirus 2002 (the update function of it is broken, unless that's Antivirus 2009 dicking with the connection again) and hopefully get to put Avast! on there instead. I'm also probably going to install Firefox and fully patch their copy of WinXP. I also might try extracting some money from them.
