I'm about ready to just fucking quit work. Yeah, I'll be leaving next month, but I'm sick and fucking tired of picking up the slack. I don't mind if the others are doing work away from where they'd normally be (taking out trash, watching front counter while someone takes a break, etc.), but I've had it with picking up the fucking slack when they're all somewhere else in a fucking circle jerk for all I know. At one point, I was trying to get meat caught back up and an order comes up on the screen. Well, there were two asshats who could've made it...but, no, they decide to call out, "I'm not making it!" They disappear into the back (okay, one of them was trying to wash dishes). Right before they disappeared into the back, I said, "I'm not making it." Guess what? After 3 or 4 minutes, I made it. I took time out from getting the grill caught up (I swear that, when I go on break, nobody cooks any meat until they're holding on it). Oh yeah, I was also working the fried products, too...not that I was assigned to, but no one else was doing it. Later on, I'm trying to clean one of the grills, which normally takes anywhere from 20-40 minutes, for me, anyway. Well, it took me an hour and ten minutes to clean it tonight. Why? I had to keep stopping and jumping on table to make orders because no one else was. Again, I normally don't mind it taking so long to clean the grill as long as everyone else is working (or has a good excuse not to, i.e. on break, using the bathroom, etc.).

I do my fucking job...and anyone else's job that doesn't get done.

On top of all that, I still feel like shit over the break-up. Between that and all the frustration/stress from tonight, I came real close to crying right about the time we close. Oh yeah, I'll most likely be on table or grill tomorrow during truck. We get smashed on Sundays normally...and every time we get truck, we get fucking smashed. They push me too fucking far tomorrow, and I'll walk out. Like I said, I'm sick and fucking tired of doing everyone's job. $5.40 an hour simply isn't fucking worth it.
