What's up with it? I got a notification that I had recieved a new e-mail, so I type hotmail.com into the addressbar in Firefox, get a screen about a Hotmail redirect in progress, think, "Oookay...that's new," and then I get a 404. I betray my Firefox loyalty and simply right-click on MSN Messenger and click on "My Email Inbox (1)", and that works. At that point, I'm thinking, "Did they just make Hotmail IE specific?" I tried going to my.msn.com, and that worked. I click on the Hotmail link from there, which successfully brought me to Hotmail.
Edit:
Apparently, they want me to type www.hotmail.com instead of just hotmail.com.
Bastards.

Mar. 9th, 2005 08:04 pmWell...I was installing Gentoo, and it finally gave me enough information to determine why it was being a pain in the ass...the HD is flaky. I knew that it was and was prone to data loss, but I hoped it would be good enough to hold out for a little while longer. I guess I'll have to get up off my lazy ass and pull the 6GB drive out of my brother's machine and try installing from there. I could use that 20GB drive I bought from my brother...but I want that for my XP machine.
