Sucky Parent Night
Jul. 17th, 2007 12:18 amTonight was apparently Sucky Parent Night at Food City.
First, a lady sat her baby on the little thing for writing checks on and stuff. The baby fell a good 3.5 feet or so. She just looked at it for a moment, like it was her purse that fell. She then picked it up and fussed at it for crying. It threw up moments later. A few lanes over, a nurse and EMT were in line and said that she needed to take the baby to the ER because it most likely had a concussion. Her response? "It'll be alright." (Not her exact words, but something along those lines.)
Second, an hour or hour and a half after that baby incident, someone left a baby in their car. Luckily, the baby was found early and it was like 10pm or so. The cops were called in and freed the baby.
