Let's see

Last night, I developed a peculiar pain in one point of my throat whenever I swallowed. I didn't think much of it until it started making swallowing anything very, very uncomfortable (which unfortunately coincided with my mouth deciding it was time to produce lots of saliva), making the rear, left portion of my tongue hurt when I talked/chewed/swallowed, same for that area of my jaw, and pain in my left ear. Even that wasn't much of an issue until keeyakitsune decided to call, but I had to cut that call kinda short because of the pain. A short while later, I decided to just try sleeping it off. That didn't work. I tossed and turned and stuff until my mom got up for work. I told her about the pain, and she said I probably had a swollen lymph node and a bit of an ear infection. Heh, she could also see the pain while I was talking, as I kept flenching and jerking my head to the side a bit because of the pain. She found some "acetamenophen/cod" (I'm assuming the "cod" part is "codeine") pills and gave me one of those. It eventually worked and knocked me out.

It still hurts to swallow, but at least I can talk now without much pain.
