That verse seems to correlate to Zion waiting for the ship, The Hammer, to come. The Hammer can't recieve transmissions, and, when it does arrive, it essentially falls.

A little piece of you is falling away

Build your muscles as your body decays
This seems to deal with The Matrix upgrading the agents because of so many people being freed from it.
Yeah, toe your line and play their game
Yeah, let the anaesthetic cover it all
Till one day they call your name
You know it's time for the hammer to fall - yeah
This verse appears to cover people being freed from the Matrix.
Rich or poor or famous for
Your truth it's all the same - oh no - oh no
These lines seem to deal with everyone has to fight to save Zion

These don't seem to fit the Matrix at all.

In the shadow of the mushroom cloud
