I find it very hard to watch any rock videos on YouTube. I always end up reading the comments, which always involve arguments over one guitarist versus another. That wouldn't really be an issue if the idiots would argue over guitarists of equal skill and similar style, but they won't. They'll argue over Eddie Van Halen versus Slash or some other equally stupid pairing. I just saw a video that was Tony Iommi vs. Angus Young. That's freaking metal vs. blues, basically. You can't freaking compare them. Gah, just found Iommi vs. Page, a less stupid comparison, but we're still talking metal vs. blues. Why not Angus Young vs. Slash? Tony Iommi vs. Richie Blackmore? Satriani vs. Vai?
They'd have more fun trying to come up with theoretical supergroups like a band comprised of Tony Iommi (guitar), Richie Blackmore (guitar), Geddy Lee (bass), Tommy Lee (drums), and Rob Halford (vocals) or Angus Young (guitar), Slash (guitar), Neil Murray (bass), Jason Bonham (drums), and George Thorogood (vocals).
